Acquaintance charged with sexually assaulting girl 12-14 in Lake Ridge

Aggravated Sexual Battery – On May 6, detectives with the Prince William County Police Department’s Special Victims Unit concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence in the Woodbridge (22192) area of Prince William County between May 2018 and April 2020.

The investigation revealed that the female victim, who was between 12-14 years of age at the time of the offenses, was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance, identified as the accused, on more than one occasion during the above time frame. The victim recently reported the incidents prompting the police investigation. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as John Pleasant JOHNSON Jr., was arrested, according to First Sgt. Jonathan Perok, police department representative.

Charged with 3 counts of aggravated sexual battery, 3 counts of indecent liberties, 3 counts of forcible sodomy and 2 counts of object sexual penetration
