Accused woman attempts to run over victim near Woodbridge pool, county police report

Armed Robbery *ARREST –
On November 1, the suspect, identified as Kenneth Lewis HARRIS, who was wanted in connection to an armed robbery incident which occurred in the area of Mountain Rd and Loudoun Dr in Haymarket on October 30, turned himself into authorities at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center without incident.
Arrested on November 1:
Kenneth Lewis HARRIS, 48, of the 100 block of Clubhouse Dr in Leesburg
Charged with robbery, use of a firearm in a commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, preventing the summoning of law enforcement, and driving on a suspended license

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On October 30 at 2:00PM, officers responded to the area of Mountain Rd and Loudoun Dr in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the accused was pulled over for a traffic violation in Loudoun County by a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Deputy. As a result of the traffic stop, the accused was issued a traffic summons and his vehicle, a black 2003 GMC Yukon, was towed.  The tow truck driver, identified as a 25-year-old man, agreed to give the accused a ride to an unknown location in Prince William County. After driving to the area of Mountain Rd and Loudoun Dr in Prince William County, the accused told the tow truck driver to pull over. The accused then exited the vehicle and walked to the driver’s side door where he brandished a firearm and demanded his vehicle be released.  The tow truck driver complied and unhooked the GMC Yukon. The accused then fled the area in the vehicle and the tow truck driver contacted police.  No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained multiple warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Kenneth Lewis HARRIS. Attempts to locate HARRIS have been unsuccessful.  The investigation continues.

**ARRESTS**

Attempted Malicious Wounding – On October 31 at 8:54PM, officers responded to the Willowbrook community pool located at 1375 Walnut St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 26-year-old man, and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused slapped the victim in the face then got into her vehicle and attempted to run the victim over. The parties eventually separated and the police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported by the victim. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Rebecca Marie DENT, 37, of 1410 Walnut St in Woodbridge
Charged with attempted malicious wounding and assault & battery
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Released on a $25,000 secured bond

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On November 1 at 7:00PM, officers responded to the Chinn Park soccer fields located at 13001 Chinn Park Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to assist Park Rangers with several disorderly individuals. When officers arrived, they detained three males who were determined to be intoxicated. One of the suspects, later identified as a 17-year-old juvenile male, refused to provide any personal information at first but later disclosed that he was a juvenile. When the officer attempted to release the accused into the custody of his parent, the accused removed a spit guard which had been placed over his head due to the accused spitting all over the back seat of a police cruiser and pushed it into the officer’s face. The accused was eventually released into the custody of a parent without any further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained petitions for the juvenile.
