Abduction and malicious wounding charged

Prince William County Police Department,  a Nationally Accredited Law Enforcement Agency, reports these recent arrests:

• Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On January 5, 2023, oPrince William County Police officers concluded an investigation into a domestic that was reported to have occurred at a residence in 4700 block of Dane Ridge Cl. in Woodbridge (22193) in March 2019. The investigation revealed the victim, who was 36 years of age at the time of the incident, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim against a wall and then slammed her head against the wall multiple times before the parties separated.
The victim reported significant injuries were sustained at the time of the incident. The victim eventually reported the incident to police in December 2022. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Aaron Wesley GRIFFITH, who was arrested on January 5, 2023.

• Abduction – On January 7, 2023 at 7:30PM, Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 7600 block of Lucas Ct. in Gainesville (20155) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 49-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim and spat in her face before physically preventing her from leaving. Eventually, the parties separated, and the police were contacted. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Amanda Nicole LUSKEY, was arrested.

• Strangulation | Domestic Related – On January 10 at 7:30PM,Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a domestic that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 1400 block of Oregon Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) the day prior on January 9. The investigation revealed the victim, a 56-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s neck before pushing her onto the floor causing her to strike her head. The parties eventually separated. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Carlos Alfredo ORTIZ TORRES, was arrested.

Charged with strangulation and domestic assault & battery
