A tale of two knives in PWC Police report

**ARRESTS**
Attempted Armed Robbery –
On January 16th at 8:52PM, officers responded to the 10300 block of Launch Cir in Manassas (20109) to investigate an attempted robbery. The victim, an 18 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he had made arrangements to meet with a female acquaintance in the above area. Once there, the victim encountered an unknown man who displayed a knife and demanded money. The victim refused and pulled out his own knife which caused the suspect to flee. No property or money was taken. Detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify the initial female acquaintance and determined that she arranged for the unknown suspect to rob the victim. The male suspect has not been identified. Following the investigation, the female acquaintance, identified as the accused, was arrested on January 17th.

Kendal Renee STANLEY, 18, of 10350 Launch Cir, #304, in Manassas
Charged with 2 counts of conspiracy to commit a felony and 2 counts of criminal solicitation
Court date: March 17, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond

Suspect Description:
White male, between 16 & 20 years of age, 5’7” with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black fleece style jacket


**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery –
On January 19th at 11:55AM, officers responded to the area of Graham Park Rd near Kilmer Ln in Triangle (22172) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 26 year old man of Triangle, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached from behind by male suspect. During the encounter, the man placed an object, believed to be a handgun, to the victim’s back and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim before fleeing on foot. As the suspect fled, the victim recognized him as being a known acquaintance. No injuries were reported. This incident was not random.
