A rash of residential burglaries reported to PWC police; mostly $$$ missing

Residential Burglary – On Tuesday, August 6 at 11:23AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14300 block of Fullerton Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred at approximately 2:40AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a bedroom window which was found damaged. Surveillance footage captured an unknown male entering the home. While searching the residence, officers observed additional interior property damage. No property was immediately reported as missing.

Residential Burglary – On Tuesday, August 6 at 5:23PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4800 block of Kempair Ct. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred at approximately 12:04AM. The surveillance footage captured two unknown men enter an unsecured attached shed prior to one of them attempting to enter the main residence. The homeowner observed the suspect attempt to enter a secured side door and yelled at him through the door. The suspects fled the area without making entry into the home. No property was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On Tuesday, August 7 at 6:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7500 block of Thurston Ln. in Manassas (20111) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 1:00PM and 4:00PM, entry was attempted into the residence through the front door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On Wednesday, August 7 at 8:58PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 9900 block of Shallow Creek Lp. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 8:11AM and 8:53PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the apartment through the bedroom window which was found damaged. Jewelry, shoes and an undisclosed amount of money were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On Thursday, August 8 at 12:30AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 8100 block of Peakwood Ct. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 3:00AM and 11:30PM on August 7. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the apartment through an unsecured window. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.
