Prince William Police report multiple arrests in a series of burglaries

Residential Burglary Series *ARRESTS – Detectives from the Prince William County Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit have made multiple arrests following an extensive investigation into a series of burglaries which were reported to have occurred in the Lake Ridge area of Prince William County on February 7th, according to a report from police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.

During the investigation, detectives were also able to connect the suspects involved to three other reported burglaries on February 10th, one of which was reported in Triangle and another in Woodbridge, the report said.

In most cases, entry was made into the homes during the day through a rear sliding glass door which was broken out. Electronics, U.S. Currency, jewelry, and firearms were reported missing. As a result of this investigation, detectives were able to clear eight burglary cases. Arrests in this investigation were made between March 4th and 28th. The U. S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force, Fairfax County Police, and Alexandria City Police also assisted in this investigation, the police report said.

          Delonta Marquice BADIE, 25, of 8253 Russell Rd #102 in Alexandria
          Charged with 5 counts of burglary and 5 counts of grand larceny

          Reshaud Dequan WESTBROOK, 22, of 831 Bashford Ln in Alexandria
          Charged with 3 counts of burglary, 3 counts of grand larceny, 1 count of attempted burglary,
          1 count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and 1 count of conspiracy to commit burglary

          Gavin Gerald SIMMS, 24, of no fixed address
          Charged with 7 counts of burglary, 7 counts of grand larceny, 1 count of attempted burglary,
          1 count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and 1 count of conspiracy to commit burglary

          Doreen Sibeth ADAMS, 21, of 12895 Effingham Ct in Woodbridge
          Charged with 1 count of receiving stolen property and 1 count of obtaining money by false pretenses

          Arrested on March 28th:
          Donte Antonio KILGORE, 22, of the 4100 block of Southway Ln in Triangle
          Charged with 2 counts of burglary, 2 counts of grand larceny, 1 count of attempted burglary, and
          1 count of conspiracy to commit burglary

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On February 10th at 6:23PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12600 block of Jedburg Ln of Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00AM and 6:10PM.  Entry was made into the home through a basement level sliding glass door which was broken out. A handgun and magazines, total valued around $700, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On February 10th at 2:24PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 4100 block of Southway Ln in Triangle (22172) for a burglary in progress. Maintenance staff reported to police that three unknown males were seen inside of an apartment. Police arrived at the apartment and discovered a rock was used to break a window. Jewelry, multiple gaming consoles, multiple pairs of shoes, and a handgun, total value around $5000, were reported missing. The suspects were not located. This incident does not appear to be random.

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On February 8th at 7:06PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3600 block of Russell Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30AM and 1:40PM on February 7th. Entry was made into the home through a basement level sliding glass door which was broken out. An iPad, valued around $700, was reported missing.

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On February 7th at 6:05PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13000 block of Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:22AM and 5:10PM. Entry was made into the home through a basement level sliding glass door which was broken out. Jewelry, valued around $100,000, was reported missing.

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On February 7th at 4:56PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3500 block of Covered Bridge Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30AM and 3:00PM. Entry was made into the home through a basement level sliding glass door which was broken out. Jewelry, valued around $1,500, was reported missing.

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On February 7th at 4:56PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3500 block of Covered Bridge Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:15AM and 3:15AM. Entry was made into the home through a basement level sliding glass door which was broken out. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On February 7th at 3:55PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3900 block of Sunny Brook Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:10PM and 3:25PM. Entry was made into the home through a basement level window which was broken out. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On February 10th at 1:26PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15300 block of Barnabas Trail in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a residential alarm. When police arrived at the home they discovered a basement level window was broken out. No entry sis believed to have been made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
