Occoquan District Supervisor to host “Elections Q&A” Town Hall, Sept. 30

With questions swirling around the 2020 Elections, Occoquan District Supervisor Kenny Boddye is hosting an Elections Q&A Virtual Town Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

He will be joined by the Secretary of the Prince William County Elections Board, Keith Scarborough.

“At a recent town hall, many of the audience questions centered around voting in the upcoming elections. It was before the special legislative session in Richmond, so there weren’t solid answers to some concerns at the time,” said Supervisor Boddye. “Now, we will be able to directly address concerns and ensure that Occoquan District residents have accurate information around the 2020 Elections.”

Topics will include early voting procedures, when votes are counted, ID requirements, COVID-related protections and how to get involved.

Attendees may submit questions at the time of registration, or via the chat feature during the event.

The event will be accessible online and by phone. It is free to attend; RSVP requested: occoq.org/electionsth.
