Victim says he jumped out of way of vehicle to avoid being struck in Woodbridge garage

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On Sunday, November 17 at 7:52AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 13100 block of Marina Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic.

The victim, a 29-year-old man, reported to police that he and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a dispute that escalated. At one point, the accused left the residence and texted the victim that she intended to vandalize his vehicle. When the victim proceeded to the parking garage, he observed the accused operating her vehicle. The accused accelerated and swerved the vehicle towards the victim who was able to run to a nearby stairwell. The accused then fled the area.

The victim also reported additional assaults committed by the accused. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Brittany Nicole ROGERS, was arrested.

Charged with attempted malicious wounding and domestic assault & battery
