Strong-Arm Robbery – On September 30 at 3:34PM, officers responded to the 14800 block of Enterprise Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 12-year-old male juvenile, reported to police that he was approached by two unknown male juveniles who were wearing ski masks. During the encounter, the juveniles assaulted the victim and took his cell phone.
The juveniles then fled the area on foot and the victim returned to his residence where police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported.
Witnesses came forward and provided officers information about the incident.
The juveniles were located a short distance from the scene and taken into custody without incident. Following the investigation, both juveniles were charged.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On October 1 at 1:31AM, officers responded to the area of Terranova Ln. and Simpson Mill Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a disorderly.
The investigation revealed that a woman, later identified as the accused, appeared intoxicated and was acting disorderly in the above area. The accused refused to return to her home and began to use profane language towards the officers.
While detaining the accused, she resisted and grabbed the officer’s arm to avoid arrest. The officer was able to quickly re-secure the accused without further incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Katherine GUTIERREZ-ZELAYA, was arrested.
