School Threat Investigation - On September 23 at 3:37PM, a School Resource Officer (SRO) received information of a potential threat of violence at Rippon Middle School located at 15101 Blackburn Rd. in Woodbridge (22191).
The investigation revealed that a student made statements of potential violence towards the school earlier that day while in a classroom. The SRO subsequently identified the student and determined that the risk to the school was not credible. Following the investigation, the SRO charged the student. The case will be handled through juvenile court services.

Malicious Wounding - On September 23 at 9:24AM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the 13600 block of Dabney Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a fight. The victim, a 22-year-old man, reported to police that he and an unknown man, later identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused pushed and punched the victim, causing him to fall. The accused then retrieved a catalytic converter, that was on the ground nearby, and struck the victim on the back. The parties were eventually separated by witnesses. The victim and the accused reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jose Romeo OSORIO RENDEROS, was arrested.

Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery - On September 24 at 5:00PM, officers responded to investigate an abduction that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 15100 block of Leicestershire St. in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that day.
The victim, a 28-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused took the victim’s cell phone before he assaulted her. At one point, the accused pushed the victim, causing her to fall and strike her head, rendering her unconscious for a brief period.
The altercation continued after the victim awakened. The victim was eventually able to exit the residence, at which time, the accused followed her while brandishing a knife and making threats. The accused fled the area after a witness observed the victim screaming and the accused chasing her with the knife. The victim responded to the police station to report the incident. Minor injuries were reported by the victim. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Aaron McForest WAGNER, was arrested without incident.
