Student charged with assault and battery on school resource officer at Forest Park High School
Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On Friday, Sept. 20 at 7:29AM, the School Resource Officer (SRO) at Forest Park High School located at 15721 Forest Park Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) was assisting a student when that student attempted to assault another student.
The SRO quickly stepped in front of the student, identified as the accused, and was pushed. When the SRO attempted to take the accused into custody, she resisted. After a brief struggle, the accused was taken into custody without further incident. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 15-year-old female juvenile, was arrested.
