Learn the details on plans to widen Rt. 28 to six lanes—between the Bull Run Bridge iat Prince William/Fairfax County line and US 29 in Centreville—at a public hearing on Monday, Sept. 23, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at a design public hearing, at Centreville Elementary School, 14330 Green Trails Blvd., Centreville. The formal presentation on the plan and proposed construction schedule will start at 7 p.m., according to a public notice published in the Washington Post’s Local Living section on Aug. 22.
Fairfax County Department of Transportation, Virginia Department of Transportation, Northern Virginia Transportation Authority and the Federal Highway Administration are all involved in the planning and construction process.
