**INCIDENTS**
Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery – On June 14 at 10:55PM, officers responded to the Longview 7-11 located at 13990 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 45-year-old male, reported to police that he was approached by an unknown man asking for money. During the encounter, another man approached the victim from behind and grabbed him around the arms. The first suspect then punched the victim in the face before going through his pockets and attempted to take his cell phone. The victim was able to retain his phone, separate himself from the suspects and contact police. One suspect fled on foot, while the other man left in a white sedan driven by an unknown person. Minor injuries were reported. The suspects were only described as Hispanic males.
Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery – On June 14 at 10:29PM, officers responded to the 14000 block of Golden Ct. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 34-year-old man, was walking in the above area when he was approached by two unknown juvenile males. During the encounter, the suspects assaulted the victim before going through his pockets. The suspects then fled the area on foot. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located. Minor injuries were reported. The suspects were only described as a black male with a short afro wearing a multi-colored t-shirt and an unknown race male with short hair wearing a t-shirt.
