Teens arrested in connections with masked robberies of a McDonald’s and a Chic-Fil-A

Armed Robbery | Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony *ARRESTS – On April 6, detectives from the Robbery Unit concluded an investigation into two armed robberies that occurred on April 1 at the McDonald’s on Dale Blvd. and April 5 at the Chic-Fil-A on the Prince William Pkwy. in Woodbridge (22192). On April 5 at 10:12PM, two masked individuals entered the Chic-Fil-A and brandished a gun at the employee before taking an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register. The two suspects left the store on foot and were subsequently detained by responding officers. The suspects were also connected to an attempted robbery that occurred at the McDonald’s on April 1. Following the investigation, the suspects, identified as a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old male, were arrested without incident.

Attempted Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On April 1 at 10:49AM, officers responded to the McDonald’s located at 2891 Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that two unknown masked men entered the business and approached the counter. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a handgun and demanded money from the register. The employee ran to the rear of the business before the suspects fled on foot. A police K-9 searched for the suspects who were not located. No injuries reported and no property or money were reported missing. The investigation continues.
