INCIDENTS
Indecent Exposure
On Dec. 13 at 3:40 p.m., police responded to the Marumsco Plaza in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge for a suspicious person call. The female victim, 17 of Woodbridge, reported to police that the prior day around 10:30 p.m., she was walking in the area above when an unknown man pulled up next to her. The driver asked the victim for directions and as the victim approached the vehicle, the driver appeared to have been exposing himself. The victim turned away and left the area. A similar incident was reported in the same location on Nov. 25. On that date around 6:23 p.m., the female victim, 22 of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking in the same general area when an unknown man drove up to her and, again, asked for directions. As the victim was speaking to the suspect, she noticed he was exposing himself to her. The victim then told the man she was calling police, at which point, the man drove off. In both incidents, the man never exited the vehicle or attempted to grab either woman. Lookout: Black male, between 20 & 25, unknown height and weight, possibly medium build with short black hair and an unshaven face. Vehicle Lookout: Red four-door sedan, unknown year, make and model.
Burglary
On Dec. 13 at 7:08 p.m., police responded to the 1900 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 5:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Dec. 12. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured front door. Jewelry and miscellaneous clothing, valued around $700, were reported missing.
Burglary
On Dec. 13 at 1:10 p.m., police responded to the 14000 block of Lindendale Road in Woodbridge for an alarm. Police arrived at the residence and discovered a rear window that had been broken out. It appeared a large rock had been used to break the window. No items were reported missing.
