UPDATE
Bank Robbery (Previously Released)

On Nov. 18 at 9:18 a.m., police responded to the VA Commerce Bank at 10830 Balls Ford Road in Manassas for a robbery. Bank employees reported to police that an unknown female entered the bank, implied she had a handgun and demanded money. The woman took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the area, possibly on foot. No injuries were reported. Lookout: White female, early 20s, 5’04” 120 lbs., thin build with dark blonde hair and two face piercings. Last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark colored “washed” style jeans. Bank Robbery UPDATE ON SUSPECT – On Nov. 18, police identified the below listed suspect in connection to the above listed bank robbery. Warrants are on file. Wanted: Stephanie Lynn Schwab, 26, of no fixed address. Described as a white female, 5’03” 130 lbs., green eyes, blonde hair. Wanted for robbery.

ARRESTS
Sexual Assault

On Nov. 20 at 3:25 a.m., police responded to investigate a sexual assault reported to have occurred in the 10500 block of Winfield Loop in Manassas. The female victim, 37 of Manassas, reported to police that she and a friend where in the area above when they were approached by an unknown man, later identified as the accused. The man was wearing a uniform and displayed a badge to the victim. The accused then sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing on foot. Police responded quickly and during a canvass, the accused exited his residence matching the description provided by the victim. The accused was subsequently arrested in connection with the incident. The investigation revealed that the accused was an employee of the TSA and was wearing his uniform at the time of the incident. Arrested: Harold Glenn Rodman, 52, of 10598 Winfield Loop in Manassas. Charged with aggravated sexual battery, object sexual penetration, forcible sodomy and abduction with intent to defile. Court date and bond information unavailable.

Sexual Assault
On Nov. 20 at 2:53 a.m., police responded to investigate a sexual assault reported to have occurred at the K2 Club at 14633 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge. The female victim, 29 of Dumfries, reported to police she was at the club and noticed the accused, a known acquaintance. Later that evening, the victim left the club and was walking to her vehicle parked in the parking lot. There, the accused was standing next to her vehicle. The accused pulled the victim closer and assaulted her. The victim was able to get away and contact police. The accused was located and arrested. Arrested: Matthew Paul Ector, 38, of 112 Pilot Knob Loop in Stafford. Charged with sexual battery and object sexual penetration. Court date unavailable, held without bond.

Abduction / Assault & Battery
On Nov. 20th at 12:31 a.m., police responded to the MVP Bar and Grill at 7518 Old Linton Hall Road in Gainesville for an assault. The female victim, 25 of Bealeton, reported to police she was standing outside of the bar when a vehicle, operated by the accused, pulled up. The victim got into the vehicle where the accused assaulted the victim. The accused attempted to prevent the victim from getting out of the vehicle. The victim was able to contact police. The accused was still at the bar and was arrested without further incident. Arrested: Manuel Correa, 44, of 14005 Clatterbuck Loop in Gainesville. Charged with abduction and assault & battery. Court date unavailable, held on a $7,500 secured bond.

Malicious Wounding
On Nov. 19 at 11:30 p.m., police responded to the 13200 block of Aldrin St. in Woodbridge for an assault. The male victim, 53 of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly assaulted the victim by punching him in the face several times. The accused fled the residence but was located a short distance later. The victim was transported to an area hospital with nonlifethreatening injuries. The accused was also transported to an area hospital after sustaining minor injuries from the victim defending himself. Arrested: Thomas Wayne Gum, 29, of no fixed address. Charged with malicious wounding. Court date unavailable, held without bond.

Malicious Wounding
On Nov. 18 at 4:05 p.m., police responded to the 5000 block of Barnacle Place in Dumfries for a domestic call. The male victim, 20 of Washington D.C., reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation in front of the residence. The encounter escalated and the accused allegedly retrieved a large knife and began slashing at the victim. The victim sustained superficial and otherwise minor injuries. The accused was able to get into a vehicle and leave the area. The accused was located and arrested without further incident on Nov. 21. Arrested: Erica Michelle Carr, 25, of 14664 Cloverdale Road in Woodbridge. Charged with malicious wounding.  Court date and bond information unavailable.

Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer
On Nov. 20 at 5:30 p.m., police responded to Potomac Hospital at 2300 Opitz Blvd. in Woodbridge for an intoxicated subject. Police arrived and located the subject, identified as the accused, and attempted to arrest her. While escorting the accused to a police cruiser, she became disorderly inside the hospital and then refused to get into the cruiser causing a struggle. During the encounter, the accused kicked the officer in the upper body. No injuries were reported. Arrested: Cassandra Gay Young, 47, of 3402 Fort Lyon Dr. in Woodbridge. Charged with assault & battery on a law enforcement officer, intoxicated in public and obstruction of justice. Court date set of Dec. 20, 2011, held without bond.

Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer
On Nov. 20 at 4:45 p.m., police were flagged down by a citizen in the 15900 block of Donald Curtis Dr. in Woodbridge who stated that the accused, a known acquaintance, was acting disorderly in her vehicle and wanted him removed. The accused agreed to exit the vehicle but continued to be disorderly towards the officers. After refusing to calm down, the officers attempted to arrest the accused and a struggle ensued. During the encounter, the accused assaulted both arresting officers. After a short struggle, the accused was able to be detained. No injuries were reported. Arrested: Ranzell Thompson, 47, of 12208 Allspice Ct. in Woodbridge. Charged with assault & battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Court date unavailable, held without bond.

INCIDENT REPORTS
Assault by Mob

On Nov. 19 at 2:38 p.m., police responded to investigate an alleged assault reported to have occurred at the Backyard Grill at 7421 Sudley Road in Manassas. The female victim, 28 of Vienna, reported to police that she was inside the restaurant when she was approached by three unknown women. A verbal altercation ensued but was stopped. The three unknown women left the restaurant and waited for the victim in the parking lot where they assaulted her. Minor injuries were reported. The victim was unable to provide police with a description of the assailants.

Strong Armed Robbery
On Nov. 18 at 11:39 a.m., police responded to the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge for a robbery. The male victim, 30 of Dumfries, reported to police he was on a PRTC bus that dropped him off in the area above. The victim was reportedly approached by three unknown males who he had seen on the bus. The males surrounded the victim and assaulted him. During the assault, the victim dropped his cell phone which split, releasing the battery. The males grabbed the battery, valued around $50, and fled the area. No injuries were reported. Lookout: All three assailants were described as black males, between 16 & 17, around 5’09”, thin builds. All were last seen wearing dark-colored clothing.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm
On Nov. 20 at 8:31 p.m., police responded to the 13600 block of Greenwood Dr. in Woodbridge for a call of shots fired. Caller reported to police that several gun shots were heard in the area. Police canvassed the area and did not locate anyone suspicious. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Burglary
On Nov. 20 at 12:42 a.m., police responded to the 3100 block of Rivanna Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:01 and 6 a.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry isbelieved to have been into an attached garage through unknown means. No items were reported missing, however, items appeared to have been moved.

Burglary
On Nov. 19 at 2:36 p.m., police responded to the 15300 block of Michigan Road in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Nov. 17. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A generator valued around $800 was reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 19 at 9:28 a.m., police responded to the 8000 block of Leland Road in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 4 and 8:20 a.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through a rear door on an attached garage. A motorcycle and custom helmet valued around $5,000 were reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 18 at 9:44 a.m., police responded to the 4700 block of Hawfinch Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police he had parked his vehicle in an attached garage and had left the garage door opened while he went into the main residence. Around 7 a.m., the homeowner heard his garage door shut and went to investigate to discover his gym bag containing a pocket knife and a GPS valued around $200, in addition to an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency missing. No one was seen.

Burglary
On Nov. 18 at 8:07 a.m., police responded to the 12200 block of Calexico Lane in Woodbridge for a burglary to a vacant residence. Property owner reported to police the burglary occurred between 3:15 p.m. Nov. 17 and 7:15 a.m. Nov. 18. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door that had been pried opened. Copper piping valued around $50 was reported missing.
