Malicious Wounding
On Nov. 5 at 1:47 a.m., police responded to the area of La Mauricie Loop and Acadia Drive in Dumfries for a disorderly call. There, police located the male victim, 18 of Woodridge, who was disoriented and appeared to have been assaulted. The victim reported to police he was at a party at a residence in the above area before he decided to walk home. During the walk, he was approached by two unknown men. One of the men struck the victim with a bottle causing injuries to the victim’s face. The victim was transported to an area hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. Due to the victim’s disoriented state, no descriptions could be provided for the assailants.
Assault by Mob
On Nov. 6 at 4 p.m., police responded to investigate an alleged assault, which was reported to have occurred in the area of Minnieville Road and Harvest Moon Lane in the Coles area at around 1 a.m. that morning. The male victim, 19 of Woodbridge, reported to police he was walking in the area above when he was approached by a vehicle. Three unknown men exited the vehicle and ran towards the victim. The men assaulted the victim, who was able to get away and contact police. Minor injuries were reported. Lookout: All three men were described as black males, between 17 and 18. All were last seen wearing all-dark or black clothing. Vehicle Lookout: A 90’s model black four-door Ford Explorer.
ARRESTS
Malicious Wounding / Domestic Related
On Nov. 6 at 1:02 a.m., police responded to the 2500 block of Caton Hill Road in Woodbridge for a stabbing. The female victim, 37 of Woodbridge, reported to police she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved a verbal altercation that escalated. During the altercation, the accused allegedly stabbed the victim in the chest with a kitchen knife. The victim and another family member were able to get away and contact police. The victim was transported to an area hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. The accused was arrested without further incident. Arrested: Shanquito Monzelle Carpenter, 39, of the 2500 block of Caton Hill Road in Woodbridge. Charged with malicious wounding. Court date unavailable, held without bond.
Felony Child Neglect / Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)
On Nov. 6 at 9:32 p.m., police stopped a vehicle in the area of Granby Road and Gresham Court in Dale City under suspicions the driver was intoxicated. The driver, the accused, was subsequently arrested for DWI. Inside the vehicle, at the time of the arrest, was a female, 15, a family member, who was turned over to family. Arrested: Neftali Florian-Salguero, 41, of the 4200 block of Granby Road in Woodbridge. Charged with felony child neglect and driving while intoxicated. Court date and bond information unavailable.

On Nov. 6 at 1:12 p.m., police responded to the 3500 block of Macon Way in Dumfries for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between noon Nov. 3 and 1 p.m. Nov. 6. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured front door. Jewelry valued around $7,800 was reported missing.

On Nov. 5 at 7:05 p.m., police responded to the 14300 block of Southgate Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 10:40 a.m. and 2 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked rear sliding glass door. A gaming console, related games and equipment valued around $1,500 were reported missing.

On Nov. 5 at 2:22 p.m., police responded to the 13700 block of Kaywood Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8:30 p.m. Nov. 4 and 2:15 p.m. Nov. 5. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window that had been broken out. Copper piping, an iPod and related accessories value around $350 were reported missing.

On Nov. 4 at 7:31 p.m., police responded to the 15800 block of Donald Curtis Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 5:30 and 7:10 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked rear door. Designer sneakers valued around $900 were reported missing.

Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 5 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window that had been broken out. Jewelry valued around $500 was reported missing.

On Nov. 4 at 3:25 p.m., police responded to the 3000 block of Antrim Cir in Dumfries for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear sliding glass door. A TV, laptop, gaming console and related games valued around $2,000 were reported missing.

On Oct. 31 at 4:38 p.m., police responded to the 7100 block of Mercury Ave. in Haymarket for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door that had been forced opened. Jewelry, a TV, a laptop and other electronics valued around $20,000 were reported missing.
