The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy and others are supporting a National Prescription Drug Take-Back Drive on Saturday, Oct. 29 with collection sites in local communities.
Manassas City police officers and Prince William County police officers will team up to man one of the collection sites at Manassas Mall, 8300 Sudley Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in front of Sears Department Store.
Dropping off old, discarded, expired or no longer needed prescriptions at the site is free of charge, no questions asked, and anonymous. Intra-venous solutions, needles and illicit substances will not be accepted. For more information, go to http://www.dea.gov
