INCIDENT REPORTS
Malicious Wounding
On Oct. 24 at 9:01 p.m., police responded to the area of Georgetown Road and Geddy Ct. in Woodbridge for a shooting. The investigation revealed that the male victim, 17 of Woodbridge, had sustained injuries consistent with being struck with a BB or pellet gun. The victim reported to police he was walking in the area above when a dark colored SUV pulled up next to him. A back seat passenger rolled down the window and shot the victim multiple times with the BB or pellet gun. The victim was transported to an area hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. This incident does not appear to be random. The assailants and SUV were not located. The victim was unable to provide police with a description of any occupants in the vehicle. Vehicle Lookout: GMC Yukon, unknown year, black in color with tinted windows.

ARRESTS
Destruction of Property
On Oct. 18, police responded to investigate several reports of vandalisms to residences and businesses in the Gainesville and Haymarket areas in Prince William County. The investigation revealed that unknown persons, later identified as the below listed accused individuals, had used a baseball bat to smash out windows on vehicles and businesses during the overnight hours of Oct. 17 into Oct. 18. Total damage was estimated around $8,000. The investigation led to the identity of the two accused. Both were arrested and charged on Oct. 21. Arrested: Jason Keith Phillips, 26, of 5603 Lee Hwy. in Warrenton. Daniel Ray Morris, 21, of 5207 Beverly’s Mill Road in Broad Run. Both charged with five counts of felony destruction of property and five counts of misdemeanor destruction of property. Court date for both set for Dec. 1, 2011, both were held on a $10,000 secured bond.

OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglaries
On Oct. 24 at 9:51 a.m., police responded to investigate possibly related burglaries that were reported to have occurred in the 15100 block of Gaines Mill Circle and the 14500 block of Stoney Creek Ct. in Haymarket on Oct. 22. Two homes, both under construction, were targeted. There were no signs of forced entry into either residence. A dishwasher and speakers valued around $1,400 were reported missing from the residence on Gaines Mill Circle and cabinets valued around $5,000 were reported missing from the residence on Stoney Creek Ct.

Burglary
On Oct. 21 at 10:40 p.m., police responded to the 1700 block of Horner Road in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked front door. A cell phone valued around $50 was reported missing.
