PWC Police Beat 10/20/11

INCIDENT REPORTS
Armed Robbery
On Oct. 19 at 8:24 p.m., police responded to the 15000 block of Lost Canyon Ct. in Woodbridge for a robbery. The male victim, 23 of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was delivering a pizza in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men. One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded money. The men took the victim’s wallet, containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, and the pizzas valued around $25 before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported. Lookout: Two black males, both reported to be between 23 and 25, around 5’08”, thin build. First male was last seen wearing all dark-colored clothing and a ski-style mask. Second male was last seen wearing a dark color windbreaker style jacket, dark jeans and was reported to have black collar length braided hair.

OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary
On Oct. 19 at 7:41 a.m., police responded to the 15200 block of Lodge Trail in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30 p.m. Oct. 18 and 5:30 a.m. Oct. 19. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A purse containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and other items valued around $20 were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary
On Oct. 19 at 5:39 p.m., police responded to the 1600 block of Thenia Place in Woodbridge for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m., an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through a front bedroom window, which had the outer screen removed.  No injury was gained and not items were reported missing. 

Attempted Burglary
On Oct. 17 at 10:49 p.m., police responded to the 15000 block of Arum Place in Woodbridge for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through a rear sliding glass door, which was found unlocked and an outer screen opened. The homeowner further noted that a perimeter fence door had a lock broken off. No entry is believed to have been gained and no items were reported missing.
