INCIDENT REPORTS
Armed Robbery

On Oct. 10 at 11:15 p.m., police responded to the 1600 block of Maryland Ave. in Woodbridge for a robbery. The male victim, 44 of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was in the area above when he was approached by two unknown men, both displaying handguns. The men demanded money from the victim who was then assaulted by the men. The victim was able to get into his residence and call police. The men fled the area. No items were taken from the victim. Minor injuries were reported. Lookout: Two black males, both between 25 and 35. Both were last seen wearing black ski-style caps.

ARRESTS
Shooting

On Oct. 12 at 2:40 a.m., police responded to investigate a shooting, which was reported to have occurred in the 8100 block of Pointer Lane in Manassas. The investigation revealed that the male victim, 22 of Manassas Park, was in his vehicle in the above area when he was approached by three unknown men. One of the men displayed a handgun and shot the victim while he sat in his vehicle. The victim then drove himself to the hospital where police were called. Police responded to the area above where the incident was reported to have occurred and located a vehicle with the two listed accused individuals inside. As police approached, one of the occupants, Hunter, fled from the vehicle and a foot pursuit ensued. During the chase, Hunter shoved one of the officers giving chase. Police were able to catch up to Hunter and take him into custody without further incident. The other occupant, Waters, remained at the vehicle and was arrested without incident. Both men were linked back to the reported shooting. The investigation further revealed that the shooting was drug related. Marijuana, less than a 1 lb., was recovered from the vehicle. The victim sustained multiple gunshots but is expected to survive. The third subject involved was not located. Arrested: Jamie Lee Hunter, 26, of 106 Wrightwood Place in Sterling. Charged with malicious wounding, maliciously shooting at an occupied vehicle, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Andre Waters, 21, of 1317 Monroe St. in Herndon. Charged with malicious wounding, maliciously shooting at an occupied vehicle, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Court date for both set for Dec. 28, 2011, both held without bond.

Armed Robbery
On Oct. 11 at 11:43 p.m., police responded to the area of Irongate Way and Court 6 in Manassas for a robbery. The female victim, 18 of Manassas, reported to police that she was walking in the area above when three unknown men approached her. One of the men, later identified as the accused, knocked the victim to the ground and displayed a knife. The accused took the victim’s purse, containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, before all three men fled the area on foot. The victim saw the accused at the McDonalds nearby and contacted police. The accused was arrested without incident. The other two men were not located and could only be described as black males wearing all-black clothing. The victim sustained minor injuries. Arrested: Henry Lamar Moore, 24, of 7751 Roxbury Ave. in Manassas. Charged with robbery. Court date set for Dec. 1, 2011, held without bond.

Assault & Battery
On Oct. 9 at 2 a.m., police responded to the 11900 block of Home Guard Dr. in Woodbridge for an assault. The male victim, 28 of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly assaulted the victim causing minor injuries. The accused was arrested without incident. The accused is a police officer with the U.S. Marine Corps Police Department at Quantico. Arrested: Keith Lamar Graham, 34, of Woodbridge. Charged with assault and battery. Court date unavailable, released on personal recognizance.

Child Endangerment
On Oct. 8 at 5:34 p.m., police responded to the area of Featherstone Drive and Bay Street in Woodbridge for a reckless driver. Police located the vehicle in the area of Veterans Park. The driver, the accused, was detained under suspicions of driving while intoxicated. An 8-year-old girl was in the vehicle at the time but was not injured. The accused was arrested. The child was released to her family. Arrested: Fredis Rivera Palomeque, 31, of 3531 Leesburg Ct. in Alexandria. Charged with felony child endangerment, driving while intoxicated and driving on a revoked license. Court date unavailable, held without bond.

OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary to a Business

On Oct. 11 at 9:45 a.m., police responded to a dentist’s office at 8577B Sudley Road in Manassas for a burglary. Staff reported to police the burglary occurred between 4 p.m. Oct. 8 and 9 a.m. Oct. 10. Entry appeared to have been made through an unsecured rear door. There were no signs of forced entry into the business. An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was reported missing.

Burglary
On Oct. 10 at 3:02 p.m., police responded to the 1400 block of Ranger Loop in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry. Entry is believed to have been made through a rear sidling glass door. A TV valued around $500 was reported missing.

Burglary
On Oct. 10 at 10:24 a.m., police responded to the 3800 block of Cordell Ave. in Woodbridge for a vacant residence burglary. Property owner reported to police the burglary occurred between noon Sept. 24 and 10:24 a.m. Oct. 10. Entry appeared to have been made through rear sliding glass door, which had been pried opened. Copper piping valued around $40 was reported missing causing approximately $2,000 in damage.

Burglary
On Oct. 9 at 6:52 p.m., police responded to the 3500 block of Forestdale Ave. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 9 p.m. Oct. 7 and 6 p.m. Oct. 9. Entry appeared to have been made into a shed on the property through a door that had been forced opened. Equipment and car parts valued around $3,000 were reported missing.

Burglary
On Oct. 9 at 4:30 p.m., police responded to the 15000 block of Bridgeport Dr. in Dumfries for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 2:10 and 2:30 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A gaming console, related games and a headset valued around $500 were reported missing.

On Oct. 9 at 1 p.m., police responded to the 2700 block of Steele Ct. in Dumfries for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 4:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A DVD player and other items valued around $200 were reported missing.

On Oct. 6 at 7:24 p.m., police responded to the 13400 block of Delaney Road in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding glass door that had been broken out. A TV and other items valued around $300 were reported missing.

Burglary
On Oct. 6 at 6:14 p.m., police responded to the 15000 block of Rumson Place in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door that had been forced opened. A TV and gaming console valued around $1,100 were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary to a Church
On Oct. 11 at 9:34 a.m., police responded to the All Saints Church at 5290 Saratoga Lane in Woodbridge for an attempted burglary. Staff reported to police between 5 p.m. Oct. 7and 9 p.m. Oct. 10, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the church through multiple windows. All windows were locked and secured, which prevented entry, however several screens were damaged. The unknown person(s) then attempted entry through a door by breaking out the window on the door to rear the locking mechanism. The mechanism was not tampered with and no entry was gained. No items were reported missing. Damage was estimated around $1,100.

Attempted Burglary to a Business
On Oct. 8 at 1:22 p.m., police responded to the Take N Bake at 4168 Merchants Plaza in Woodbridge for an attempted burglary. Employees reported to police that between 4 p.m. Oct. 2 and 1:22 p.m. Oct. 8, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the business through a rear door that had been tampered with. Damage to the door was estimated around $40. No entry was gained and no items were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary to a Business
On Oct. 7 at 9 a.m., police responded to the My Plumber at 6989 Gateway Ct. in Manassas for a burglary. Employees reported to police that between 4 p.m. Oct. 4 and 8 a.m. Oct. 5, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the business through a rear door that had been tampered with. Damage to the door was estimated around $50. No entry was gained and no items were reported missing.

Grand Larceny from Vehicles
On Oct. 8 at 4:56 p.m., police responded to the Auto Truck dealership at 7216 Centreville Road in Manassas for several larcenies from vehicles. Employees reported to police that between 9 a.m. Sept. 23 and 4:56 p.m. Oct. 8, an unknown person(s) cut catalytic converters from 40 vehicles that had been parked in an unsecured rear lot. The total value of the stolen catalytic converters was around $15,000. Other items valued around $300 were also reported missing.
