ARRESTS
Malicious Wounding – Domestic Related
On Sept. 12 at 11 a.m., police responded to the 14800 block of Potomac Branch Dr. in Woodbridge for a domestic. The male victim, 28 of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly threw a glass shelf at the victim causing a severe laceration to his ear. The victim was transported to an area hospital for his injuries. The accused was arrested without further incident. Arrested: Lashonda Lischelle Hopkins, 32, of the 14800 block of Potomac Branch Dr. in Woodbridge. Charged with malicious wounding. Court date and bond information unavailable.

Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor/Aiding in an Escape
On Sept. 8 at 2:10 p.m., police began an investigation into a contributing to the delinquency of a minor case at the M.E.S.H. Juvenile Facility at 8642 Wellington Road in Manassas. The investigation revealed that the accused, a Prince William County school teacher assigned to the facility, had aided in the escape of four juveniles, between the ages of 14 and 17, from M.E.S.H., which is a facility for troubled juveniles. The accused allegedly provided the juveniles with information on how to escape from the facility. The juveniles were located the same day in the area of Balls Ford Road and Ashton Avenue. Arrested: Timothea Dzan, 53, of 2920 Marsala Ct. in Woodbridge. Charged with four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and four counts of aiding in the escape of a child. Court date unavailable, held on a $5,500 secured bond.

Burglary
On Sept. 14 at 12:55 a.m., police responded to the 4400 block of Ensbrook Lane in Dale City for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 9 p.m. Sept. 13 and 12:55 a.m. Sept. 14. Entry appeared to have been made through a living room window that had been forced opened. A laptop, gaming console and related games valued around $900 were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 13 at 7:02 p.m., police responded to the 5400 block of Quaint Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between noon and 6:45 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured window. Shoes, a gaming console and related games valued around $4,500 were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 13 at 7:28 a.m., police responded to the 14400 block of Artery Lane in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7 p.m. on Sept. 12 and 2:30 a.m. Sept. 13. Entry appeared to have been made through an opened window. Electronics, a handgun and ammunition valued around $900 were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 12 at 2 p.m., police responded to the 12900 block of Kidwell Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:20 and 5 a.m. Entry appeared to have been made through an unsecured rear sliding glass door. Two guitars valued around $800 were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 10 at 9:44 a.m., police responded to the 4300 block of Evansdale Rd in Woodbridge for a burglary to an unoccupied residence. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between midnight Sept. 4 and 9 a.m. Sept. 10. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Copper piping valued around $200 was reported missing, which caused an estimated $20,000 in water damage.
