Found Human Remains
IDENTIFICATION
On Sept. 12, the human remains found in May of this year were identified. No foul play is suspected at this time. The victim had been reported missing in February of this year. Identified: Johnny Cedrick Lankford, 42 – no fixed address.
Found Human Remains (Previously Released)
On May 14 at 2:21 p.m., police responded to the 2800 block of Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge for a report of found human remains. The caller reported to police that he had found a human skull in the woods behind K-Mart. The found remains have been sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office for forensic identification. There were no obvious signs of trauma. The investigation continues.

WANTED PERSONS
Rape
On Sept. 2 at 4:05 p.m., police responded to investigate a sexual assault, which was reported to have occurred in the 9900 block of Shallow Creek Loop in Brentsville. The investigation revealed the female victim, 12 of North Carolina, had run away from home with the accused, a known acquaintance. The two then traveled to Prince William County where the accused and the victim became sexually active. The victim is not of age to give consent. The accused was not at the residence and is currently wanted. The victim was returned to her family. Wanted: Oscar Enrique Alay, 20, of 9940 Shallow Creek Loop #101 in Brentsville. Described as a Hispanic male, 5’03” 140 lbs., black hair, brown eyes. Wanted for rape.

ARRESTS
Conspiracy to Commit Murder
On Aug. 14 at 5:46 p.m., police responded to the 5600 block of Saint Charles Dr in Woodbridge for a report of a stolen firearm. The investigation revealed that a family member, the accused, had stolen a handgun belonging to the victim and had also made death threats targeted towards the victim and other family relatives. The investigation further revealed that the accused and another known acquaintance had planned to carry out these threats. No acts were carried out and the following arrests were made. Arrested: A 16-year-old female of Woodbridge; a 17-year-old male of Woodbridge. Both charged with conspiracy to commit murder and grand larceny of a firearm. Court date and bond information unavailable.

Manufacturing an Explosive Device
On Sept. 9 at 3:14 p.m., police responded to investigate an explosive material call that originated in the 15100 block of Stepping Stone Dr. in Haymarket. The homeowner had discovered unlawful fireworks and other materials that he thought could be used to build explosive devices in the bedroom of the accused, a family member. Police were contacted and a joint investigation was then conducted between the Prince William County Police, Fire Marshal’s Office and the Virginia State Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit that confirmed the materials in question were the component parts to build pipe bombs. Investigators obtained and executed search warrants at the residence of the accused and her vehicle. No additional materials, other than those originally located, were found. Arrested: Erika Nikole Gregory, 19, of the 15100 block of Stepping Stone Dr. in Haymarket. Charged with possession of explosive material and possession of illegal fireworks. Court date and bond information unavailable.

Burglary
On Sept. 12 at 7:48 p.m., police responded to the 4500 block of Hawk Ct. in Dale City for a burglary to a vacant home. Property owner reported to police the burglary occurred between midnight Aug. 10 and 3:20 p.m. Sept. 12. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Copper piping valued around $100 was reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 12 at 12:35 p.m., police responded to the 14300 block of Fairmont Ct. in Dale City for a burglary to a vacant home. Caretaker for the property reported to police the burglary occurred between 8 a.m. Sept. 10 and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 12. Entry appeared to have been made through an unsecured door. Copper piping valued around $80 was reported missing from a water heater, which caused around $2,500 in damage to the unit and to carpet in the basement level of the residence. 

Burglary
On Sept. 12 at 11:47 a.m., police responded to the 14200 block of Bismark Ave. in Dale City for a burglary to a vacant home. Property owner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6 p.m. June 10 and 11:15 a.m. Sept. 12. Entry appeared to have been made through an unsecured basement door. Copper piping valued around $20 was reported missing.

Burglary to a Business
On Sept. 11 at 4:37 p.m., police responded to the Club House of the Victory Lakes Community at 12600 Victory Lakes Loop in Bristow for a burglary. Staff reported to police the burglary occurred between 9 p.m. Sept. 10 and 5 p.m. Sept. 11. There were no signs of forced entry. A gaming system valued around $170, in addition to an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 10 at 10:52 a.m., police responded to the 4600 block of Telfair Ct. in Dale City for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window, which had been broken out. A TV valued around $500 was reported missing.
