Murder Investigation
On Sept. 1, 2011 at approximately 11:30 p.m., the victim was found deceased in his apartment in the 13900 block of Hedgewood Dr. in Woodbridge. The victim’s wife found her husband deceased in their apartment. The victim has been identified as Mr. Kwang Hur, 75, of Woodbridge. The death appears to be a homicide. The investigation continues. ARRESTS
Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor / Grand Larceny
On Sept. 1 at 6:40 p.m., officers responded to the Wal-Mart at 17041 Jefferson Davis Highway in reference to a shoplifting complaint. The investigation determined that Ms. Rexrode entered the store and used her children to assist with the theft of merchandise totaling $341 from the store. Arrested: Anna May Rexrode, 30, of 3113 Chesapeake Dr., Dumfries, with: shoplifting, contributing to the delinquency of a minor (3times). She was released on an $11,500 unsecured bond. Court date is unavailable.
Concealed Weapon / DWI / Refusal
On Sept. 1 at 12:18 a.m., Officer J. M. Grand was investigating a report of an occupied suspicious vehicle on the 3800 block of Clore Place in the Lake Ridge area of PWC. Mr. Beauchamp was located passed out in his vehicle; a pistol was concealed in his waistband. Officers were able to remove Mr. Beauchamp from the vehicle and place him under arrest. Arrested: Daniel Robert Beauchamp, 24, of 5103 Cannon Bluff Dr, Woodbridge. Charged with: driving while intoxicated, possession of a concealed weapon and refusal to submit to a blood or breath analysis. No bond or court information is available.

Burglary
On Sept. 1 at 1:11 a.m., police responded to a reported burglary that took place in the 19000 block of Queen Drive in Triangle. The victim reported coming home to find the residence had been broken into. Entry was believed to be through a rear window. Stolen were electronics and personal items valued in excess of $500.
