Strong Armed Robbery
On Aug. 16 at 2:15 a.m., police responded to investigate a robbery reported to have occurred in the 4400 block of Endsbrook Lane in Dale City. The male victim, 17 of Dale City, reported to police he was near his residence in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men. One of the men struck the victim in the face several times, knocking him to the ground. The man then took the victim’s phone and both men fled the area. The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. Investigation continues. Lookout: Two black males, both between 20 and 25. First male was 6’0” 240 lbs., heavy build, short black hair, brown eyes, beard. Last seen wearing a white T-shirt and shorts. Second male was 5’8” 140 lbs., muscular build, black collar length dreads, brown eyes, mustache. Last seen wearing a light blue shirt and shorts.
Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling
On Aug. 15 at 2:25 a.m., police responded to the 11800 block of Mohican Dr. in Woodbridge for a shooting. Homeowner reported to police she heard a vehicle slow down in front of her residence then several gunshots. The vehicle then sped away. The residence and the homeowner’s two vehicles were struck by what appeared to be several BB pellets, which caused approximately $3,500 in damage. No injuries were reported and no pellets penetrated into the residence.
ARRESTS
Rape / AbductionOn Aug. 14 at 11:31 p.m., police responded to the 10900 block of Mission Ridge Dr. in Manassas for an abduction. The investigation revealed the female victim, 38 of Manassas, had been kept inside the residence against her will by the accused, a known acquaintance. The accused had also allegedly raped the victim on Aug. 4. No injuries reported. The accused was arrested and charged. Arrested: Lazaro Machuca Ramos, 42, of the 10900 block of Mission Ridge Dr. in Manassas. Charged with abduction with intent to defile and rape. Court date unavailable, held without bond.
Narcotics Investigation
On Aug. 15 at 9:48 p.m., police responded to the 11100 block of Wainwright Place in Manassas for a possible marijuana-growing operation. Police arrived and located several marijuana plants on the property in the back yard. A search warrant was executed at the residence, 11106 Wainwright Place. As a result of the search warrant, seven marijuana plants, grow-operation equipment and packaging material were recovered. The following arrests were made. Arrested: Mack Wesley Jacobs, 57, of 11106 Wainwright Place in Manassas. Charged with manufacturing marijuana. Court date unavailable, held without bond. O’Rondae Keron Jones, 19, of 80009 Hilliard Dr. in Manassas. Charged with obstruction of justice. Court date unavailable, held on a $2,000 secured bond.

Burglary to Business
On Aug. 16 at 2:26 a.m., police responded to the Evergreen Country Club at 15900 Berkley Dr. in Haymarket for burglary. Staff reported to police the burglary occurred between 8 p.m. Aug. 15 and 2:26 a.m. Aug. 16. Entry appeared to have been made through a pool house on the property by breaking a window. No items were reported missing, however, there was approximately $200 in damage.
Burglary to Business
On Aug. 15 at 10:22 a.m., police responded to Tim’s Rivershore at 1510 Cherry Hill Road in Dumfries for a burglary. Manager reported police the burglary occurred between 11 p.m. Aug. 14 and 10 a.m. Aug. 15. There were no signs of forced entry in to the business. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured side door. An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was reported missing.
Burglary
On Aug. 11 at 2:47 p.m., police responded to the 7800 block of Blue Gray Circle in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 9:30 a.m. Aug. 7 and 2 p.m. Aug. 11. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window that had been pried opened. Tools and gaming equipment valued around $2,000 was reported missing.
Larceny from Vehicle – Firearm
On Aug. 15 at 7:18 p.m., police responded to the 3900 block of Brussels Way in Woodbridge for a larceny from vehicle report. Vehicle owner reported to police that between 6:30 p.m. Aug. 12 and 2 p.m. Aug. 15, an unknown person(s) entered his vehicle and stole a handgun and a magazine valued at around $500. There were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle.

Vandalism to School
On Aug. 15 at 8:12 a.m., police responded to Antietam Elementary School at 12000 Antietam Road in Woodbridge for a destruction of property call. School staff reported to police that video surveillance at the school captured an unknown man walking up to the school and throwing a rock through one of the school’s glass doors causing approximately $200 in damage. Lookout: Black male, between 15 and 20, unknown height or weight, short black hair. Last seen wearing white T-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.
