County fair opens Aug. 12; emphasizes “Fun 4 U” experience
Fun 4 U is the theme of the Prince William County Fair coming up Aug. 12-20. The fair will be held at the Prince William County Fairgrounds at 10624 Dumfries Road in Manassas. Here are some of the 2011 features:
• Admission fees are lower.
• Tickets may be purchased on the web; go to http://www.pwc fair.com.
• The “fair booklet” and entry forms for all kinds of contests and more fair information are now at your fingertips at http://www.pwc fair.com. Those without access to a computer can use one at the library or get information at the fair office.
• The fairgrounds have had a facelift. Most of the buildings have been painted.
• Signs have been updated to help visitors find their way around.
