INCIDENT REPORTS
Armed Robbery

On July 25 at 9:40 a.m., police responded to the 1200 block of Easy St. in Woodbridge for a robbery. The female victim, 35 of Woodbridge, reported to police she was in her vehicle and had stopped for a pedestrian crossing the road. At that time, four unknown men approached her, one was armed with a knife and another was armed with a handgun. The two armed men approached her driver’s side window while the other two stood in front of her car. The men demanded her purse, which the victim handed over. The victim then accelerated her vehicle to get away from the men. During the encounter, the victim sustained a minor cut to her arm. All four men fled the area on foot. Police saturated the area but were unable to locate any of the men. The victim was only able to provide descriptors for the two armed men. Lookout: Two Hispanic males: one between 18 and 20, medium build. Last seen wearing a red or burgundy shirt, no further description, armed with a knife. Second male, between 30 and 40, heavy build.  Last seen wearing a dark colored shirt and white hat, no further description, armed with a handgun.

WANTED PERSONS
Shooting / Attempted Malicious Wounding

On July 24 at 1:25 a.m., police responded to the 1800 block of Fort Pulaski Ct. in Dumfries for a domestic. The male caller, 18 of Drumfries, reported to police a female resident, 36, and a male resident, 31, later identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation. During the encounter, the accused grabbed a shotgun and fired several rounds within the residence. The accused then walked to another part of the residence, which gave the caller the opportunity to flee the residence and contact police. As police checked the residence the female and the accused were not located but are believed to be in the company of one another. The female is not believed to be in any danger as contact was established with her. A search warrant was executed at the residence and the firearm was recovered. Warrants were obtained against the accused. No injuries were reported. Wanted: Theodore C. Walker, 31, of 1808 Fort Pulaski Ct. in Dumfries. Described as a black male, 5’11” 155 lbs., brown eyes, black hair.  Wanted for attempted malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

ARRESTS
Pursuit / Driving under the Influence [DUI]

On July 24 at 11:31 p.m., police attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of Dale Boulevard near Forestdale Plaza in Dale City. The driver, later identified as the accused, ignored the officer’s emergency equipment, including lights and siren, and continued to drive further down Dale Boulevard. The accused stopped the vehicle near Cloverdale Road. The accused continued to ignore commands and was arrested. Arrested: Alejandro Juan Arellano, 26, of 1021 Arlington Blvd. in Arlington. Charged with DUI – second in five years, felony eluding and driving without an operator’s [driver’s] license. Court date and bond information unavailable.

OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary

On July 24 at 12:22 a.m., police responded to the 16600 block of Geddy Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police two unknown men had forced entry into the residence through the front door. The two men then began checking different rooms inside the residence before realizing the homeowner was home. Once discovered by the homeowner, then men fled the house. No items were reported missing and no injuries were reported. The homeowner was only able to provide police with descriptors for one of the men. Lookout: Black male, between 18 and 25 years of age, 5’6” medium build. Last seen wearing a white shirt, no further description.

Burglary
On July 23 at 1:41 p.m., police responded to the 15100 block of Costa Dr in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8 p.m. on July 19 and noon on July 23. Entry appeared to have been gained through a lower level window. Tools and equipment valued around $3,000 were reported missing. 

Burglary
On July 22 at 9:39 a.m., police responded to the 4100 block of Churchman Way in Lake Ridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6 a.m. on July 15 and 7:30 a.m. on July 22. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an opened or unsecured garage door. Four handguns, ammunition and other items valued around $3,000 were reported missing. 

Attempted Burglary
On July 23 at 1:07 a.m., police responded to the 2200 Wheel Cog Place in Woodbridge for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police an unknown man was seen attempting entry into the residence through a rear door. As the homeowner approached the door, he observed the unknown man holding, what was believed to be, a handgun. Once the man saw the homeowner, he fled the area.  No entry was gained into the residence and no items were reported missing. Lookout: Black male, unknown age, thin build. Last seen wearing all dark clothing.

Attempted Burglary
On July 22 at 1:52 p.m., police responded to the 14700 block of Kogan Dr. in Manassas for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police she was sleeping in the basement when she heard a strange noise coming from the exterior basement door. Upon investigating the noise, an unknown man was seen trying to turn the door knob. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing. The homeowner was unable to provide police with a description of the man. 

Larcenies from Vehicles
On July 25 at 1:24 a.m., police responded to the 15500 block of Windward Ct. in Dumfries for a suspicious person. Caller reported to police that three unknown men were seen breaking into vehicles in the area. In total, approximately eight vehicles were targeted. Loose change was reported missing. Police checked the area, however, no one was seen.
