ARRESTS
Abduction / Assault & Battery
On July 21 at 11:46 a.m., police responded to the Holiday Inn at 10424 Balls Ford Road in Manassas for a reported assault. The female victim, 26 of Manassas, reported to police that she, a hotel worker, was cleaning a room when the accused attacked her. Police located the accused in a room he was staying in within the hotel. The accused approached police completely nude and acted disorderly, ignoring officers’ commands. The accused resisted arrest causing officers to deploy a Taser and pepper spray to subdue him. The investigation revealed the victim was in the hallway of the hotel getting supplies to clean a vacant room when the accused approached and grabbed her in an attempt to pull her back to his room. Another hotel worker, hearing the struggle, came to the victim’s aid, which caused the accused to release the victim. No injuries reported to the victim, the accused was transported to an area hospital for treatment unrelated to officer’s actions. Arrested: Langston Wayne Hunter, 37, of 804 Gallop Hill Road in Gaithersburg, Md. Charged with abduction, assault and battery and resisting arrest. Court date unavailable, accused remains hospitalized.
