**INCIDENTS**
Indecent Exposure – On September 6th at 3:06PM, officers responded to the Misty Ridge Apartments Leasing Office located at 1989 Delaware Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an indecent exposure. The victim, a 27 year old woman of Fredericksburg, reported to police that she had just closed the office for the day when an unknown man knocked on the door and requested to use the bathroom. The victim agreed and allowed the man inside. Once inside, the man inquired into leasing an apartment and asked for a tour. During the encounter, the man exposed himself to the victim and made an obscene gesture. The victim then told the man to leave which he complied and left without further incident. No other contact was made and no other incidents were reported.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 25 & 27 years of age, 5’3”, 160lbs with a medium build, dark complexion, short black hair and brown eyes
Last seen wearing a white t-shirt, tan shorts and white tennis shoes
Residential Burglary – On September 5th at 6:20PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3700 block of Chico Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00AM and 3:30PM on September 4th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a kitchen door which was found damaged. Jewelry, money, gaming consoles and related equipment were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On September 5th at 3:12PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Cloverdale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:30PM and 3:12PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made into the home through an unsecured bedroom window. A laptop and gaming consoles were reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On September 4th at 8:50AM, officers responded to a commercial building located at 14350 Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. At the time of the incident the building was under construction. Construction crews reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:30PM on September 3rd and 5:39AM on September 4th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the building through a wooden barrier blocking the front door which was found damaged. A construction tool was reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On September 4th at 8:30AM, officers responded to Battery Plus located at 14224 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The business manager reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:00AM on September 3rd and 7:30AM on September 4th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a warehouse door which was found damaged. Several used car batteries were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On September 2nd at 12:53PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15900 block of Marlington Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30AM and 12:53PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made into the home through an unsecured rear sliding glass door. Jewelry and a tablet were reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Malicious Wounding – On September 5th at 10:22PM, officers responded to the 1700 block of Varsity Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a fight. As officers were responding to the area, information was received that an individual had been stabbed and that the suspect left in a vehicle. A responding officer located and attempted to stop the vehicle as it left scene. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and almost struck the officer’s cruiser head on. The officer was able to avoid the collision and pursued the vehicle onto I-95 northbound. The vehicle’s driver, identified as the accused, eventually stopped just prior to the Fairfax County line where she was detained without further incident. The accused was also determined to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the encounter. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 51 year old man of Woodbridge, attempted to stop the accused and another male individual from physically fighting. During the altercation, the accused stabbed the victim in the abdomen twice before fleeing the residence. The victim was flown to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. All parties were known to one another. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
