Strong Armed Robbery ARREST
On June 22, police identified the two men responsible for the below reported robbery from April 18. The accused, Meyers, turned himself into police without incident on June 22 and was charged. Rose is still being sought by police on an active warrant. Arrested: Charles Meyers IV, 18, of 14100 Madrigal Dr. in Woodbridge. Charged with robbery. Court date set for Aug. 16, 2011, released on a $5,000 unsecured bond. Wanted: Lewis Da Juan Rose, 24, of 200 N. Huron Dr in Oxon Hill, Md. Described as a black male, 5’11” 170 lbs., brown eyes, black hair. Wanted for robbery out of Prince William County.
Strong Armed Robbery (Previously Released)
On April 18 at 5:15 p.m., police responded to the 13900 block of Hedgewood Dr. in Woodbridge for a robbery. The male victim, 20 of Woodbridge, reported to police he was in the area above when he was approached by two male acquaintances. One of the men struck the victim from behind while the other took property. The victim sustained minor injuries. The suspects fled prior to police arrival. Investigation continues.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm
On June 27 at 12:58 a.m., police responded to the area of Kilpatrick Place and Old Triangle Road in Dumfries for a shots fired call. Callers reported to police that several gun shots had been heard in the area. No injuries or property damage were reported.
Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling
On June 26 at 6:35 p.m., police responded to the 12700 block of Falcon Dr. in Woodbridge for a shooting into an occupied dwelling call. Homeowner reported to police that between 7 a.m. on June 25 and 4 p.m. on June 26, an unknown person(s) fired a pellet gun towards a large bay window and a smaller window on the residence. Several pellets struck the windows only penetrating through one of two panes of the glass. No penetration was made into the residence. No injuries were reported.
Reckless Handling of a Firearm
On June 25 at 1:05 a.m., police responded to the area of Georgetown Road and Wetherburn Court in Woodbridge for a shots fired call. Callers reported to police that gun fire was exchanged between an occupant driving a dark colored four-door vehicle and another unknown man walking on foot. Both the vehicle and the other male fled prior to police arrival. No injuries were reported, however, a residence in the 2900 block of Wetherburn Ct. and two unoccupied, parked vehicles were struck.
OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary
On June 25 at 2:51 p.m., police responded to the 4500 block of Dale Blvd in Dale City for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between noon on June 24 and 1 a.m. on June 25. Entry appeared to have been made through a door on an attached garage that had been forced opened. Tools and equipment valued around $5,800 were reported missing.
Burglary
On June 17 at 5:56 p.m., police responded to the 1300 block of East Longview Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on June 16. There were no signs of forced entry in the residence. A wallet valued around $20 was reported missing.
Attempted Burglary
On June 24 at 12:52 p.m., police responded to the 1900 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that on June 23 at 11:44 p.m., she heard her doorbell ring then door rattle. The homeowner walked into her living room to investigate the noise and observed a man pass by her door. Later that morning, the homeowner discovered damage to the weather stripping. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing.
