Strong Armed Robbery
On June 23 at 12:07 a.m., police responded to the 17500 block of Isle Royale Trail in Dumfries for a robbery. The female victim, 55 of Dumfries, reported to police she had just entered her residence when an unknown man approached her and demanded her purse. The man then assaulted the victim, knocking her to the ground and forcibly took her purse. Minor injuries were reported. Lookout: Black male, unknown age, 5’08” 140 lbs., thin build with black hair. Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling
On June 22 at 7:44 a.m., police responded to the 3000 block of Seminole Road in Woodbridge for a shooting into an occupied dwelling. Homeowner reported to police that between 3:15 and 3:30 a.m., a loud noise was heard from inside the residence. The homeowners did not notice anything suspicious until later that morning when bullet holes were discovered in the side of the residence. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated around $750.
Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling
On June 20 at 10:27 a.m., police responded to the 4000 block of Aldie Road in Catharpin for a shooting into an occupied dwelling. Homeowner reported to police that between midnight on June 11 and 10:30 p.m. on June 17, an unknown person(s) shot at the house with some sort of projectile. No penetration was made into the residence, however, a pane on a double pane window was broken. No injuries were reported.
ARRESTS
Attempted Armed Robbery
On June 22 at 9:38 p.m., police responded to Marumsco Plaza in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge for a robbery. The male victims, 19 and 18 both of Woodbridge, reported to police they were walking in the plaza when they were approached by two unknown men who demanded money. When the victims did not comply with them, one displayed a handgun and threatened them. The other man punched both victims before they were able to get away and call police. Officers located the two men shortly after arrival. Arrested: Vincent Lee Talley, 19, no fixed address. Arrested: Josie Pananie Beckley, 34, no fixed address. Both were charged with two counts of abduction, one count of robbery and one count of a using a firearm in commission of a felony. Court date for both set for Aug. 2, 2011, bond information unavailable.

Burglary
On June 22 at 6:46 p.m., police responded to the 15900 block of Donald Curtis Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 9 a.m. on June 10 and 6:30 p.m. on June 22. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced opened. A guitar and other items valued around $2,500 were reported missing.

On June 21 at 7:16 p.m., police responded to the 12800 block of Old Bridge Lane in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door that had been forced opened. Jewelry valued around $10,000 was reported missing.

On June 17 at 12:05 p.m., police responded to the 3300 block of Ladino Ct in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8:58 a.m. and 9:17 p.m. on June 16. Entry appeared to have been gained through a rear window. Electronics valued around $500 were reported missing.
