ARRESTS
Abduction / Assault & Battery
On June 11 at 12:57 p.m., police responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred on June 10 at the Eggspectation restaurant at 5058 Crescent Park Dr. in Gainesville. The victim, a 22 year old woman of Haymarket, reported to police that she was assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, while both were closing the restaurant on June 10 around 8:30 p.m. The accused allegedly followed the victim into a walk-in freezer inside the restaurant where the assault occurred. The victim was unable to get out of the freezer or away from the accused. The victim was able to text a co-worker who was able to open the freezer and let the victim out. On June 20, warrants were obtained against the accused who turned himself into police on the 21st. Arrested: Rafael Alonso Perez Lazo, 25, of 11987 Coverstone Hill Circle in Manassas. Charged with abduction and assault & battery. Court date set for July 21, 2011, held without bond.
Assault by Mob
On June 21 at 5:28 p.m., police responded to the 4300 block of Granby Road in Woodbridge for a fight. The male victims, 51 and 20 both of Woodbridge, reported to police they saw a group of about four juveniles throw trash in their yard. The victims then reportedly got in a verbal altercation with a group of juveniles that escalated into a physical fight.  During the encounter, both victims were assaulted before they fled on foot. Police were able to locate two of the four juveniles involved who were charged. Minor injuries were reported. Arrested: Two males of Woodbridge, both 17. Both were charged with assault by mob. Court date unavailable, both held at a juvenile detention facility.

Vandalism to School
On June 21 at 10 p.m., police responded to Mullen Elementary School at 8000 Rodes Dr. in Manassas for vandalism. Staff reported to police that between 7:15 a.m. and 7:15 p.m., two windows on two separate modular buildings had been broken out, in addition to five screens on windows being vandalized. OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglaries to Businesses
On June 21 at 11:18 p.m., police responded to Featherstone Square in the 14500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge for a burglary. The investigation revealed three businesses in the complex, Fancy Hair & Nail Salon, Irie Caribbean American Takeout and Featherstone Cleaners, had windows broken out causing around $2,600 in damage. Entry appeared to have only been gained into the salon. No items were reported missing from any of the businesses. 
Burglary
On June 21 at 7:17 a.m., police responded to the Marine Corps Heritage Museum at 18900 Jefferson Davis Highway in Triangle for a burglary. Staff reported to police the burglary occurred between 5 p.m. June 20 and 6:30 a.m. on June 21. Entry appeared to have been made through a window on a trailer located on the property that had been broken out. No items were reported missing. 
Burglary
On June 20 at 10 p.m., police responded to the 3000 block of Bromely Ct. in Lake Ridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6:30 and 10 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Jewelry valued around $12,000 was reported missing.

On June 20 at 3 p.m., police responded to the 13400 block of Victory Gallop Way in Gainesville for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Two TVs valued around $1,700 were reported missing. 
Burglary to Business
On June 20 at 9:50 a.m., police responded to the PR at Partners Salon and Spa at 10470 Bristow Center Dr in Bristow for a burglary. Business owner reported to police the burglary occurred between 4:55 p.m. on June 19 and 8:45 a.m. on June 20. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was reported missing. 
Burglary to Business
On June 20 at 7:35 a.m., police responded to the Leona Building & Truck Accessories at 8136 Sudley Road in Manassas for a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:30 p.m. on June 18 and 7 a.m. on June 20. Entry appeared to have been made through a door on a modular office building that had been forced opened. An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was reported missing.
Attempted Burglary
On June 21 at 11:32 a.m., police responded to the 16400 block of Plumage Eagle St in Woodbridge for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that around 4:42 a.m., she was awoken to the sound of her alarm going off but did not notice anything suspicious. Later that morning, a screen on a rear bedroom window was discovered to have been pried off. No entry was gained into the residence and no items were reported missing.
