ARRESTS
Malicious Wounding / Domestic Related
On June 15 at 12:21 a.m., police responded to the 2300 block of West Longview Dr. in Woodbridge for a domestic. The female victim, 45 of Woodbridge, reported to police she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly struck the victim numerous times. The victim received medical attention for her injuries. The accused was arrested without further incident. Arrested: Selvin Magdiel Morales-Mijangos, 30, of 2396 West Longview Dr. in Woodbridge. Charged with malicious wounding. Court date unavailable, held without bond.
Strong Armed Robbery
On June 14 at 6:12 p.m., police responded to the 2200 West Longview Dr. in Woodbridge for a robbery. The female victim, 33 of Dumfries, reported to police she was in the area above when an unknown male approached her and grabbed a cell phone from her hand. The man fled the area on foot. Police established a perimeter and located the accused, a juvenile, near Potomac Hospital. No injuries were reported. Arrested: A 14-year-old male of Woodbridge. Charged with robbery and grand larceny. Court date unavailable, held at a juvenile detention facility.
Narcotics Investigation
On June 14, police stopped a vehicle being driven by one of the accused, Fernandes. The accused was subsequently arrested for possession of heroin. That stop led to the identity of the dealer, Spivey, who was located and detained at his residence in the 13900 block of Longwood Manor Ct. in Dale City. An arrest and search warrant were obtained and executed. As a result of the search additional heroin and U.S. currency were recovered. Arrested: Christopher Spivey, 44, of 13915 Longwood Manor Ct. #402 in Woodbridge. Charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin and possession of heroin. Tyler Jordan Fernandes, 18, of 12325 Purcell Road in Manassas. Charged with possession of heroin. Court date and bond information for both unavailable.
