As summer is fast approaching and school is ending, if you’re a parent, you may be looking for activities to keep your children busy and positively focused during the summer. Several local churches are hosting economically friendly vacation Bible schools (VBS) or other activities. Activities vary, so you are likely to find something that will appeal to your children’s interests. Registration is already open for many activities.
The first one listed in the more-lenghty story, is May 31-June 3, when St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, at 8538 Greenwich Road in Catlett, will host a preschool camp from 9 a.m. to noon for a fee. For more information call 540-788-4252 or 540-788-3364 or see http://www.ststephenschurchcatlett.org.
