Registration begins March 31 for Northern Virginia Community College’s summer session.
Classes in the 12-week session begin May 18 and end Aug. 9. NOVA also offers two six-week sessions during the summer, starting May 18 and June 29.
Students may register 24 hours a day online at http://www.nvcc.edu For p.ersonal help, visit a campus in Alexandria, Annandale, Loudoun, Manassas, Springfield or Woodbridge during regular business hours.
Students can register early to lock in their classes without paying tuition until April 27. Starting April 27, tuition is due by 5 p.m. on the next business day after enrolling.
Students must register by 11:59 p.m. on the day before a session begins.
College students home for the summer can earn NOVA credits that transfer to their four-year residential colleges. Most colleges and universities accept NOVA credits but students should consult their residential college before registering.
People who prefer independent study or a more flexible schedule can choose online courses through NOVA’s Extended Learning Institute. Online courses start at frequent intervals throughout the year.
