For the seventh year, ERA Blue Diamond Realty on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge, is preparing for the 2014 holiday season by teaming up with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves as a drop off location for the Marine Corps annual Toys for Tots Program.
Retired Marine Lt. Col. Kay Young is spearheading ERA Blue Diamond Realty’s efforts to collect toys this holiday season. Young, an Associate Broker at ERA Blue Diamond Realty, was quoted as saying, “In these economic times, families are more in need of help than ever before. Toys for Toys make children’s holidays’ a happy reality.”
This year with the community’s help, the company hopes to give away hundreds of toys to needy children. Donated toys should be new and unwrapped for easy distribution. A single toy will make a tremendous difference to the life of a needy child. All of the toys that are received at ERA’s BLue Diamond Realty office will remain in Prince William County, a news release said.
Toys can be dropped off Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. or Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4p.m. at 2974 Prince William Parkway. Call 703-494-3000 for more information. For more information about ERA Blue Diamond Realty, visit http://www.erabluediamondrealty.com .
