Strong Armed Robbery
On May 29 at 11:33 p.m., police responded to investigate an alleged robbery reported to have occurred in the 1500 block of Fort Sumter Ct in Dumfries. The male victim, 18 of Dumfries, reported to police he was walking in the area above when he was assaulted from behind, which knocked him to the ground. A group of men surrounded the victim and took his cell phone. Minor injuries were reported. The victim could not provide police with a description of the assailants.
Attempted Strong Armed Robbery
On May 30 at 9:43 a.m., police responded to the area of McGuffeys Trail and Powells Creek Blvd. in Woodbridge for a robbery. The male and female victims, 48 and 41 respectively, reported to police they were walking in the area above when they were approached by three unknown men. One of the men demanded money from the victims while the other two surrounded them. The victims refused to hand over anything and the men left the area, getting into a vehicle. No injuries were reported and no items were taken. Lookout: Three black males, all reported to be between 15 & 17 years of age, about 5’05.” First male had dark skin and short dreadlocks. Second male had dark skin and low-cut hair. Last seen wearing a dark colored shirt, blue jeans and New Balance shoes. Third male had light skin and low-cut hair. Last seen wearing a green shirt and jean. Vehicle Lookout: A black, four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan Sentra, unknown year.
Shooting Into an Unoccupied Dwelling
On May 28 at 8:10 p.m., police responded to the 2900 block of Pheasant Lane in Woodbridge for a shooting into an unoccupied dwelling call. Homeowner reported to police she was gone between 7:50 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., and returned home to find a bullet hole in the siding next to the front door. No one was in the residence during the time.
ARRESTS
Strong Armed Robbery
On May 29 at 5:43 p.m., police responded to the 1900 block of Daniel Stuart Sq in Woodbridge for a robbery. The female victim, 44 of Woodbridge, reported to police she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were in the area above when they got into a verbal argument that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly knocked the victim to the ground and took her cell phone. The accused was located and arrested. No injuries were reported. Arrested: David John Buck, 46, no fixed address, charged with robbery. Court date set for July 11, 2011, held on a $5,000 secured bond.

Crime Alert: Eisenhower Circle Burglaries
Since early May, police have responded to several burglaries in the 1300 block of Eisenhower Circle in Woodbridge that have been reported to have occurred during the day time hours while residents are not home. See individual releases below:
Burglary
On May 26 at 4:12 p.m., police responded to the 1300 block of Eisenhower Circle in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through an unsecured bedroom window. An iPod and camera valued around $450 were reported missing.
Burglary
On May 20 at 4:27 p.m., police responded to the 1300 block of Eisenhower Circle in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 11:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through the front door. A telescope valued around $200 was reported missing.

On May 5 at 7:55 p.m., police responded to the 1300 block of Eisenhower Circle in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry appeared to have been made through the front door. Electronics valued around $1,400 were reported missing.

On May 5 at 6:26 p.m., police responded to the 1300 block of Eisenhower Cir in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:20 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding glass door. Electronics valued around $1,400 were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary to Business
On May 27 at 9:48 a.m., police responded to Sugar Buzz at 403 Mill St in Occoquan for an attempted burglary. Employee reported to police that between 11:45 p.m. on May 26 and 9:15 a.m. on May 27, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the business by prying open the front door. A deadbolt in place is believed to have prevented entry. No items were reported missing.
