It’s tough to beat the heat

With a temperature of 95 degrees, we don’t have to tell you it’s hot today.
Even youngsters are staying inside with the higher-than-average temperatures. Streets in Haymarket and the surrounding areas were deserted because students thought it was just too hot to be out.
The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration listed a high of 95 degrees with a heat index of 98. The NOAA site,forecast.weather.gov, listed a heat advisory and a hazardous weather outlook for the area on May 31 and June 1. 
The Prince Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue advised locals to watch out for heat stroke, whjch is revealed through such symptoms as cramps, dizziness, fatigue and nausea. The Department issued an alert reminding parents and caregiver never to leave a child unattended in a hot car.
In addition, to keep heat stroke, also known as hyperthermia, at bay, the alert advised wearing loose-fitting light clothing and drinking plenty of liquids.
