Virginia Department of Transportation will host a community information meeting regarding the reconstruction of the I-66 and US 15 interchange (Exit 40) in Prince William County Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Battlefield High School, 15000 Graduation Drive in Haymarket.
Citizens are invited to stop by between 6 and 8 p.m. to view displays and learn about the project with VDOT staff available to answer questions. A formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The existing diamond interchange will be replaced with a diverging diamond interchange to significantly improve safety and accommodate forecasted increases in traffic, according to a VDOT news release.
If the meeting must be cancelled for any reason, it will be held Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the same time and location.
Written comments may be submitted at the meeting, or submitted by Nov. 13 (or Nov. 20 if the meeting is held Nov. 5) to:
