Assault by Mob
On May 20 at 5:10 p.m., police responded to the 14800 block of Darbydale Ave in Dale City for an assault. The male victims, 16 and 14 of Woodbridge, reported to police they were walking in the area above when they were approached by four unknown men who assaulted them. Both victims were able to get away and contact police. Minor injuries were reported. Lookout: All four men were described as black males, between 16 and 23.

Indecent Liberties
On May 18 at 10:27 p.m., police responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 12800 block of Fitzwater Dr in Nokesville. The female victim, 16 of Fauquier, reported to police she had been sexually assaulted by the accused after he had given her nonprescribed drugs. The victim left the residence and reported the incident to police. A search warrant was executed at the residence of the accused. The accused was not located at the time of the search warrant. Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the accused. Wanted: Edward Bryan Corbin, 44, of 12835 Fitzwater Dr. in Nokesville. Described as a white male, 6’02” 305 lbs., brown hair, blue eyes. Wanted for indecent liberties, distribution of drugs to a person under 18, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana.
ARRESTS
Aggravated Sexual Battery
On May 21 at 8:46 p.m., police responded to investigate a sexual assault, which was reported to have occurred in the 3900 block of Forestdale Ave in Woodbridge. The female victim, 7, reported to police that she had been sexually abused by the accused, a known acquaintance. The accused was arrested without further incident and charged. Arrested: Martin De Jesus Valle-Alas, 28, of 3953 Forestdale Ave. in Woodbridge. Charged with aggravated sexual battery, object sexual penetration and indecent liberties with a minor in a supervisory role. Court date unavailable, held without bond.
Malicious Wounding
On May 22 at 12:15 a.m., police were notified of an assault while working a concert at Jiffy Lube Live located at 7800 Cellar Door Dr. in Gainesville. The male victim, 24 of Centreville, reported to police he was involved in an argument with both of the accused. The argument escalated and a fight ensued. During the fight, the victim was punched causing a laceration to his face. The victim was flown to an area hospital for his injuries. Both of the accused were located and charged. Arrested: Robert Allen Hedgpeth, 22, of 13713 Smallwood Ct. in Chantilly; Tyler Joseph Kisner, 18, of 13630 Ellendale Dr. in Chantilly. Both were charged with malicious wounding. Court date unavailable, both held without bond.
Brandishing
On May 22 at 2:20 a.m., police responded to Waters Edge at 13188 Marina Way in Woodbridge for a brandishing. The male victims, 20 of Stafford and 24 of Woodbridge, reported to police the accused was involved in an argument and brandished a shotgun. The accused never pointed the firearm at or threatened anyone with the shotgun. The victims, both security guards, detained the accused until police arrived. The accused was arrested by police without further incident and charged. Arrested: Justin O’Brian Jones, 22, of 113 Breezy Ct. in Newport News. Charged with three counts of brandishing a firearm. Court date unavailable, released on personal recognizance.
Reckless Handling of a Firearm
On May 21 at 6:39 p.m., police responded to the 1800 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge for a shooting into an occupied dwelling call. Homeowner reported to police that a single bullet came through the ceiling of his apartment and exited through the floor. The investigation revealed that the accused, in the above apartment, had accidently discharged a handgun. No injuries were reported. Arrested: Tabian Dijon Johnson, 22, of 3403 Brightwood Lane in Woodbridge. Charged with reckless handing of a firearm. Court date unavailable, released on a $7,500 unsecured bond
CRIME SOLVERS CASES
Hit and Run Involving a School Bus
On May 20 at 8:43 a.m., police responded to the area of Gordon Blvd. and Riverview Lane in Occoquan for a hit and run. The investigation revealed that the driver of a white Ford F-150 struck the rear of a Prince William County school bus while it was stopped at the intersection above. At the time of the incident, the bus was not unloading/loading students. There were students on board the bus, no injuries were reported. The crash was minor causing a small dent to the rear bumper.
Burglary to a School
On May 21 at 8:39 a.m., police responded to Woodbridge High School at 3001 Old Bridge Road in Lake Ridge for a burglary to a school. The investigation revealed that sometime between 1:25 and 2:30 a.m., two unknown individuals, possibly juveniles, were seen on surveillance, inside the school setting off fire extinguishers, dumping liquids on the floor, gluing coins to locks on doors and other various acts of vandalism. Burglary
On May 21 at 4 p.m., police responded to the 5600 block of Naylor Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8:45 a.m. and 4 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through one of several unlocked doors to the residence. An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was reported missing.

On May 20 at 7:12 p.m., police responded to the 16900 block of Toms River Loop in Dumfries for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 5:40 a.m. and 7 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding glass door that was smashed out. Electronics valued around $2,600 were reported missing.
Burglary
On May 20th at 3:30 p.m., police responded to the 18200 block of Kilmer Lane in Triangle (22172) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.. Entry appeared to have been made through the front door which had been forced opened. Electronic valued around $700 were reported missing.
Burglary to a Business
On May 18 at 12:33 p.m., police responded to Chemung Contracting at 7201 Rail Line Ct. in Gainesville for a burglary. Employees reported to police the burglary occurred between 7 a.m. on May 11 and 12:33 p.m. on May 18. Entry was made into a trailer. An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was reported missing.
Attempted Burglary
On May 22 at 12:38 p.m., police responded to the 7500 block of Equinox Landing Ct. in Gainesville for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 2 p.m. on May 20 and 11:30 a.m. on May 22, an unknown person(s) removed two screens from rear windows in an attempt to possibly gain access into the residence. The windows were not tampered with and no access was gained. No items were reported missing.
