Free screening of American Promise on Oct. 4 at Gar-Field High School

“American Promise” is a documentary that follows a 13-year journey of two African-American families to chronicle implicit assumptions on issues of race, class, and opportunity.
The free screening, made available through Prince William County Public Schools and the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., will be held on Oct. 4 from 6–9 p.m. at Gar-Field High School on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge.
