The Prince William Board of County Supervisors will host a brief 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, September 11, 2014, to honor and remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
The event will start at 9:30 a.m. at the county’s 9/11 memorial at the county courthouse complex off Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge. All are welcome to attend.
Corey Stewart, chairman of the Board of County Supervisors, will introduce the remembrance ceremony and read the names of the Prince William County residents who lost their lives. Stewart will be followed by the PWC Fire and Rescue Chaplain. The playing of “Taps” will close the remembrance ceremony.
