Reckless Handling of a Firearm:
On May 8 at 12:29 a.m., police responded to the 12700 block of Bombay Way in Woodbridge for a disorderly. The investigation revealed that the accused had fired several rounds from a handgun within his residence in the above area. No injuries were reported. The accused was arrested without further incident and charged. At 9:25 a.m. the next morning, police responded to the 4000 block of Antwerp Ct. for what appeared to be bullet holes in a residence in that area. Due to the proximity of the two streets, it is believed the holes were created by the incident the night before. Again, no injuries were reported. Arrested: Kimberly Thompson [male], 53, of 12718 Bombay Way in Woodbridge. Charged with discharging a firearm inside of a dwelling, reckless handling of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Court date unavailable, held without bond

Burglaries:
On May 8 at 12:17 a.m., police responded to the 3100 block of Chesapeake Dr in Dumfries for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6:50 and 11:30 p.m. on May 7. Entry appeared to have been gained through an unlocked rear window which was accessed by a ladder. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
On May 7 at 5:30 p.m., police responded to the 17400 block of Mine Rd in Dumfries for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8 p.m. on May 6 and 5 p.m. on May 7. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door that had been forced opened. Electronics valued around $1,000 were reported missing.

Burglary to a Business:
On May 6 at 9:31 a.m.,  police responded to the Public Storage located at 14123 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge for a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:30 p.m. on May 5 and 9:10 a.m. on May 6. Entry appeared to have been gained into the office area through an unlocked rear door then forced opened an interior door. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

Attempted Burglary:
On May 3 at 8:33 a.m., police responded to the 7600 block of Visionary Ct in Manassas for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that an alarm activation went off inside the residence informing her of a rear basement door being opened. It appears the unknown person(s) attempted to force entry through the basement door but was unsuccessful. No entry is believed to have been gained into the residence and no items were reported missing.

Rape:
On May 8 at 2:48 p.m., police responded to the 9700 block of Loudoun Ave in Manassas for a sexual assault. The female victim, 17, of New Jersey, reported to police that she was at a family’s residence in the above area attending a gathering. The victim had gone to a bedroom within the residence to sleep and awoke to the accused, a family acquaintance, sexually assaulting her. The victim informed a family member of the incident who then contacted police. The accused was arrested without further incident and charged. Arrested: Giovanni Alexander Parisi Penaloza, 30, of 9710 Loudoun Ave. in Manassas. Charged with rape and forcible sodomy. Court date unavailable, held without bond.
Indecent Liberties:
On May 6 at 2:58 p.m., police responded to investigate an alleged sexual assault involving a teacher at Beville Middle School at 4901 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge. The investigation revealed the accused allegedly inappropriately touched the female victim, 12, while at the school in his custody as a student. The accused was arrested without further incident and charged. Further inquiries into the employment of the accused can be directed to Prince William County Schools. Arrested: Lawrence Eric Lucchetti, 33, of 5623 Derby Ct #204 in Alexandria. Charged with taking indecent liberties by a custodian and aggravated sexual battery.  Court date unavailable, held without bond

Abduction, Domestic Assault & Battery:
On May 6 at 6:49 p.m., police responded to the 18300 block of Sharon Rd in Dumfries for an assault. The female victim, 20, of Dumfries, reported to police she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly assaulted the victim before preventing her from leaving a bedroom to contact police. The accused eventually left the residence which is when she contacted police. The accused was located the next day and arrested without further incident. Minor injuries were reported by the victim. Arrested: Samuel Vincent Mosley, 20, of 18311 Sharon Road in Dumfries. Charged with abduction and domestic assault and battery. Court date unavailable, released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
