Occoquan was recently ranked # 2 among the top 14 “Small Cities” in Virginia by CitiesJournal.com, according to Mayor Earnie Porta’s recent e-newsletter.
Fellow Prince William County neighbor Manassas ranked #1.
Porta said the article identified Occoquan as “one of Prince William County’s jewels” and noted that while you can drive through town, you will not want to—instead you will “want to take in as much of the town as you can and the best way is to experience it in a way that allows you to see, smell, taste and touch as much of it as you can.”
The mayor issued a “thank you” to everyone who has helped make Occoquan an attractive place.
