In-person absentee voting for voters who live in Haymarket, Occoquan, Quantico and Dumfries starts tomorrow, Friday, March 21 and continues until Saturday, May 3, according to a notice from the general registrar of Prince William County, which handles the administrative work for town elections.
The four towns in Prince William County will be holding elections on Tuesday, May 6 for mayor and town council members.
Sample ballots can be viewed on the Office of Election web site, http://www.pwcgov.org/vote .
The two locations for in-person absentee voting are Office of Elections Main Office, 9250 Lee Avenue, Manassas, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and the satellite Woodbridge DMV office, 2731 Caton Hill Rd, Woodbridge, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
Special Saturday hours for absentee voting will be held on May 3 at both locations which is the last day to absentee vote.
The last day to register to vote or change an address for the May 6 election is Monday, April 14.
