The Prince William County School Board has rescheduled the two public hearings on proposed attendance boundaries for new schools. The hearings are now set to be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 7 p.m. in the School Board Meeting Room in the Edward L. Kelly Leadership Center.
The first will be in regard to the new “Nokesville K-8” school and the second will be for the new “Haymarket Drive” Elementary School.
School attendance boundaries affected by the Nokesville K-8 schools are likely to be Bennett and Nokesville Elementary Schools and Marsteller, Parkside, and Stonewall Middle Schools.
Boundary proposals for the “Haymarket Drive” Elementary School will reassign portions of the attendance areas associated with Alvey, Buckland Mills, Gravely, Mountain View, Piney Branch, and Tyler Elementary Schools.
