On Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Gregory Family Theater at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas, Craig Esherick, Assistant Professor of Sport Management in the College of Education and Human Development at George Mason University, will discuss the history of college athletics in this country.
He will then analyze the current state of college athletics and compare our system to the club system in Europe.
Esherick has been a college basketball player, a television commentator an assistant coach and head basketball coach at Georgetown University.
The talk is part of George Mason’s Vision Series lectures.
