The initial Police search for Lyle Foster, III, the missing/endangered adult last reported seen on June 10, 2013 was suspended at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 11.
Lyle “Stumpy” Foster, III is described as a white male, 5’0”, 160 lbs with brown & gray hair, and brown eyes.
His is 54 years old and was born on Sept. 22, 1958.
The Manassas City Police Department undertook an in-depth investigation into the whereabouts of Foster, complete with search dogs, air support and assistance from Prince William County Police, Virginia State Police and U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, according to a news release.
This is still an active investigation and city police are asking for the community’s continued assistance in locating Foster. Foster is legally blind, has difficulty walking, and sometimes suffers from short-term memory loss.
He was last seen at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2013 walking with his cane on Hood Rd near his residence in Georgetown South. Anyone with knowledge of Foster’s whereabouts or other pertinent information related to this case is asked to call Manassas City Police at 703-257-8000.
