Del. Rich Anderson and Cong. Rob Wittman to hold military & veteran town hall today, May 28

Veterans and active duty military personnel can air their comments and concerns at a town hall meeting today, May 28, starting at 4 p.m., at the Dale City Volunteer Fire Department, 13511 Hillendale Drive (corner Hillendale & Dale Blvd.) in Dale City.

Listening will be two legislators officials well acquainted with military and veterans’ issues. They are state Del. Richard Anderson, a retired Air Force colonel, who is chairman of the Virginia General Assembly’s Military and Veteran Caucus, and US Congressman Rob Wittman, who is is member of House Armed Services Committee.

The town hall meeting’s focus will be on military and veteran issues, sequestration, and potential BRAC rounds in 2015 and 2017, according to a news release.

The town hall meeting is being hosted by the Prince William Veterans Council.
