Legislators to air concerns about proposed north/south corridor project near Stone House in Manassas
Delegate Tim Hugo (R-40th) will be holding a press conference with State Senators Dick Black (R-13th), Richard Stuart (R-28th), and Jill Holtzman Vogel (R-27th), Delegates Bob Marshall (R-13th) and Michael Webert (R-18th), and other elected officials on Monday, April 29, at 2 p.m.
The press conference will take place at the intersection of Rt. 234 and Rt. 29 (near the Stone House in the Manassas Battlefield Park.)
The press conference will highlight Prince William/Fairfax/Fauquier elected officials’ growing concerns regarding the Commonwealth Transportation Board’s and VDOT’s plans for the building of the “North/South Corridor” and its deleterious impact on commuters along the I-66 corridor, according to a news release.
